When planning where to stay here, you should also consider the lodges which are just inside the national park and even those on the east side of the Chobe Forest Reserve, near Ngoma.

If you're just passing through Kasane, then it might make sense to choose to stay in one of the lodges listed here, as they tend to be a little cheaper than those in the park, and you may also save a few days' park fees. However, if you're visiting the Kasane area specifically to see northern Chobe, and can afford to use one of the lodges in the park or near Ngoma, then you might be better there.
