Used mostly by overland companies and small groups with local safari operators, it's on the north side of the road, northwest of Kubu Lodge and about 5km from the centre of town. This is the base for Thebe River Safaris which is usually occupied by overlanders or travellers taking a trip with Thebe. The campsite's very pleasant and beside the river, though if you want to camp here you must make arrangements in advance.

For campers there is a small bar, a swimming pool, a kitchen that will prepare meals, basic flush toilets and open showers. There are also five permanent tents under thatched shades. Twin beds and bedding are provided, facilities are shared with the campers.
