Most visitors to the Kasane area will either have their own transport, or they'll be visiting as part of an organised trip with an all-inclusive package – so the general lack of transport won't be a problem. If you're backpacking then there are a few small minibuses that ply up and down the main road... but the town is so small that you can walk around it with ease.
