Duma Tau

(9 raised tents)
At the western end of the Linyanti, overlooking the Zibadianja Lagoon from its southeastern shore, Duma Tau is found just east of the source of the Savuti Channel (GPS: DUMATA) under a canopy of mangosteen trees.

The camp has nine luxurious tents raised on wooden platforms, all with en-suite facilities: hot showers (one indoors and one outside) washbasins and flush toilets. There is a central dining-room, bar and lounge, and a small plunge pool for afternoon dips.
Activities centre around 4WD game drives, and night drives which visit the riverine forest beside the Linyanti, as well as the drier areas along the upper reaches of the Savuti Channel and the mopane forest between. Short walks are sometimes possible, and there's a boat which can be used on the lagoon and in nearby waterways when water levels are high.

Duma Tau also shares the use of Livingstone's game hide with King's Pool – and visitors can be dropped and later collected here, and even sleep over if requested early enough. (I last saw the hide in passing, as a large pride of lion had brought down a buffalo within about 30m of it!)
