Kwara Reserve is very large, and covers a wide spectrum of environments from deep-water lagoons and thick papyrus to dry-country scrub and mopane. Thus trying to describe here any dominant species of plants or animals is at best inconclusive, and at worst completely misleading.
These are a few general notes on what you’re likely to find here, plus observations of what I found most interesting on my last visit.
