Aside from the Mopane Tongue, the only way to access any of the rest of Moremi is from one of the small private safari camps to which you must fly in. There are three main camps within Moremi: Mombo and Chief's camp at the north end of Chief's Island, and Xigera right on the western edge. These are described below.

However, there are a number, like those in NG19 near North Gate, which stand just outside the edge of the park, but conduct many of their activities within the park. These include the camps in NG21 (Camp Okavango, Shindi and Xugana), and also the old camps along the south end of the Boro River in NG27B (Oddball's Camp, Delta Camp, Gunn's Camp, Semetsi and Eagle Island).

Because these two areas are very different I'll subdivide this concession into two sections – one covering Xigera's area, and the other concentrating on the camps on Chief's Island: Mombo and Chief's Camp.
