The riding camps

These aim to be comfortable and simple, and all are staffed. As with most camps, the service is a good standard with high-quality food prepared freshly. Dinner is usually a stylish three-course affair, served by candlelight. The main camp used as a base is:

Macatoo Camp
Like Okavango Horse Safaris’ camps in neighbouring NG29, this is a specialist camp used purely for riders. Each of this small camp’s four large tents has twin beds, and each tent has its own en-suite shower and loo. There is a furnished mess tent, a small splash pool and a daily laundry service here.

Fly-camps (set up as/where required)
The longer safaris here usually include a couple of nights sleeping at a mobile fly camp, where the ablutions are a traditional bucket shower and loo.
