Flora & fauna highlights

The finer details of the wildlife in this concession tend to be eclipsed by the experience of the horses that you ride, or the elephants that you’re with – hence I will make only relatively sketchy comments here on the wild fauna in this area.
However, you will find here most of the Delta’s usual big game, including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, blue wildebeest, kudu, tsessebe, red lechwe, impala, zebra, reedbuck, steenbok, warthog, baboons and vervet monkeys. Lion and spotted hyena are the dominant predators, with occasional appearances by leopards and wild dogs.
That said, like NG25 to the north, and NG29 and 30 to the south, I don’t think that the variation and density of game is quite up to the levels of, say, central Moremi or some of the areas on the north side of the Delta. However, rest assured that you’ll still see plenty of game when visiting here.
